John Bloodworth, Senior Pastor      

John previously served as our interim pastor for a year beginning in 2017. He has been a Southern Baptist pastor for over 15 years and served in ministry most all of his life. Pastor John has a passion for preaching the Word of God and teaching the Church the unchanging truth of Scripture.

Favorite movie(s) – Facing the Giants (2006), The Hiding Place (1975), and most any cowboy movie.

Favorite book(s) – Holy Bible, Worship & Entertainment by A.W. Tozier, Big Shots and Little Squirts by Dr. Junior Hill.

 Favorite meals – Seafood, wild game, or a grilled Ribeye steak.

Somewhere you’d love to visit but haven’t – Israel and Fiji

What is something that people would be surprised to learn about you – As a bi-vocational minister I am regularly working up in the air on electric signs and lighting as the owner of Bloodworth Sign Service.

Jean Clifton, Church Secretary      

Jean has been church secretary for several years and is a key part of our staff. She is a wife, mother and grandmother. Her husband Max is pastor of New Life Baptist Church in Conyers. Jean is crucial to all those essential behind-the-scenes tasks that a church has to do and is an incredible blessing to our church

Favorite meals – Roast Beef, mashed potatoes and gravy with vegetables, or Fried Shrimp, coleslaw and hush puppies.
